The new-generation Xiaomi SU7 receives subtle exterior tweaks focused on fine details. If you want to quickly distinguish the updated model from the original version by the front fascia, the most striking difference lies in the millimeter-wave radar integrated into the lower bumper air intakes of the new Xiaomi SU7. Additionally, the revised EV is equipped with a 105-liter power-operated front trunk, spacious enough to fit a 21-inch travel suitcase.

The new-generation Xiaomi SU7 comes with a rich palette of exterior paint options, including six classic shades: Aurora Purple, Radiant Magenta, Elegant Gray, Pearl White, Obsidian Black and Golden Blush Pink. Three brand-new exclusive hues are also introduced: Capri Blue, Crimson Scarlet and Indigo Stone Green. These fresh exclusive paint finishes are paired with dedicated 20-inch Blade-Style alloy wheels and full midnight black interior trim as standard. In total, six wheel designs are available across a range of sizes from 19-inch to 21-inch for buyers to customize their vehicle.

The side profile retains the iconic fastback coupe silhouette carried over from the previous model. Its exterior dimensions measure 4997 mm in length, 1963 mm in width and 1460 mm in height; the minimum ground clearance drops to 1445 mm when equipped with the air suspension, while the wheelbase remains unchanged at 3000 mm. The biggest safety upgrade comes as standard across all trims: triple-redundancy exterior door handles. Upon detecting a collision impact signal, the vehicle's door locks will automatically switch to a mechanical release mode, allowing occupants to pull the handles firmly outward to open doors manually. Even in extreme scenarios where both the main and auxiliary batteries cut power simultaneously, the door handles maintain full mechanical unlocking functionality. The door lock system features three independent power supply backups: the main high-voltage battery paired with a DC-DC converter, a secondary low-voltage battery, and an emergency backup power unit mounted beneath the second-row seats. This triple power layout enables mechanical unlocking for all four vehicle doors.

The rear styling of the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 stays identical to that of the original Xiaomi SU7, yet it hides a key upgrade under the skin. Every trim level of the updated Xiaomi SU7 comes factory-fitted with staggered tire setup as standard: 245 mm wide front tires paired with wider 265 mm rear tires.

The new-generation Xiaomi SU7 offers four premium interior upholstery color options to suit diverse preferences: Mist Purple, Dusk Red, Sand Clay Beige and Midnight Black. Material texture has been significantly elevated with expanded soft-touch wrapping across the cabin. The door panels feature brand-new textured trim, while metallic accents adorn the central control console. A two-tone steering wheel is also available as an option. For refined ergonomics, physical buttons on the multifunction steering wheel and center console island have been fully redesigned to deliver a more intuitive, user-friendly operation experience.

The new-generation Xiaomi SU7 is equipped with Xiaomi HyperOS intelligent cockpit. The dashboard integrates a 16.1-inch central touchscreen, a 7.1-inch rotatable LCD instrument cluster and an AR head-up display (HUD). An optional rear-seat extended screen is available, enabling seamless multi-screen interconnection. The vehicle operating system delivers ultra-smooth performance, paired with advanced Xiao AI voice assistant that supports deep vehicle control covering 95% of all car functions.

Furthermore, the upgraded Xiao AI Companion feature brings emotional perception and natural conversational interaction. Its fuzzy semantic navigation function accurately interprets voice commands and generates logical, optimized route plans. Exterior voice control with voiceprint recognition comes standard on all trims, balancing convenient operation and driving safety.

The vehicle ecosystem also receives richer expansions, with newly launched accessories including two magnetic dolls, cooling headrests and lumbar support cushions.

In terms of equipment, the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 is fitted with front-seat wireless phone charging and upgraded seat comfort. The driver's seat comes standard with 18-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage functions, while the front passenger seat adopts a zero-gravity design. Rear seats support adjustable recline angles. The cabin also features 256-color ambient lighting with music sync rhythm effect, a Harman Kardon audio system with 14 speakers (25 speakers on the Max trim), three built-in fragrance diffuser options, and double-layer laminated soundproof glass for all four doors. Notably, both the panoramic glass roof and side windows receive enhanced UV and heat insulation performance, alongside a dual-zone smart dimmable panoramic roof as a key upgrade.

For active safety performance, the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 equips LiDAR, 4D millimeter-wave radar, NVIDIA Thor-U chip with 700 TOPS of computing power and Xiaomi HAD advanced driver assistance system as standard across all trims. Built upon its end-to-end autonomous driving framework, the vehicle integrates large model training technology combining reinforcement learning and world model. The upgrade delivers smoother longitudinal acceleration and deceleration, more decisive lateral lane changes, as well as highly accurate intersection judgment, bringing users a more polished and stable ADAS driving experience.

In terms of passive safety, 90.3% of the new-generation Xiaomi SU7's body structure is constructed from high-strength steel and aluminum alloy. Two critical crash-resistant components - the embedded rollover protection frame and four-door anti-collision beams - have been upgraded to ultra-high-strength 2200MPa steel. A new 1500MPa anti-scuff crossmember is added to the front chassis, while the bottom of the battery pack is reinforced with bulletproof coating. Moreover, two extra rear side airbags are fitted, bringing the total airbag count to nine as standard equipment for every trim level.

When it comes to powertrain performance, the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 comes with the V6s Plus electric motor as standard across all trims. Its maximum motor rev speed has been lifted to 22,000 rpm, compared with the 21,000 rpm limit on the outgoing V6s motor. The Standard and Pro variants deliver a peak power output of 235 kW, while the high-performance Max variant boasts a combined dual-motor output of 508 kW (220 kW front + 288 kW rear).

Three battery pack options are offered to match each trim: a 73 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack for the Standard edition, a 96.3 kWh LFP pack for the Pro edition, and a 101.7 kWh ternary lithium battery for the Max edition. Their corresponding CLTC driving ranges stand at 720 km, 902 km and 835 km respectively.
