The BYD Tang DM-i, a mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV under the BYD brand, is equipped with the 5th-gen DM technology that combines a 1.5T turbocharged engine and a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Boasting a combined power output of 310kW, it delivers an NEDC pure electric range of 115km and an impressive combined range of 1,150km, with a fuel consumption as low as 4.95L per 100km even when the battery is depleted. Powered by a 21.5kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery, the vehicle measures 4,870mm in length, 1,950mm in width and 1,725mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820mm. It features a flexible 2+3+2 seven-seat configuration. Every trim level comes standard with a 15.6-inch rotatable infotainment screen, the intelligent DiLink connectivity system, and L2-level advanced driver assistance systems.
