In terms of exterior, the new model largely carries over the design of the current production version. The front end features a robust front bumper and full‑black trim accents, complemented by C‑shaped headlamps on both sides, delivering a rugged and sporty stance.
The door handles have been switched to a conventional design. Its dimensions stand at 5125/2025/1895 mm (L/W/H), with a wheelbase of 2880 mm.
At the rear, the vehicle retains a heavy‑duty bumper and a full‑size externally‑mounted spare tire.

As for the interior, the new Deepal G318 continues to adopt straight‑cut lines to create a rugged aesthetic. A 14.6‑inch central control screen is embedded in the center, running the HarmonySpace 5 smart cockpit.

The front seats come with heating, ventilation and massage functions, alongside a zero‑gravity mode. Expansion ports are built into the back of the front seatbacks, enabling connections to rear‑seat PADs and other devices. The rear seats support heating and ventilation; once the seatbacks are folded down, they form a relatively flat cargo surface.

In addition, the new model is fitted with HUAWEI ADS 5 Pro intelligent driving system.

In terms of powertrain, the new Deepal G318 is expected to carry over the existing 1.5 T range‑extended PHEV system from the current model. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 110 kW. It is equipped with drive motors on both front and rear axles: the front motor peaks at 131 kW, while the rear motor reaches 185 kW. The combined system output stands at 316 kW. It is fitted with a 35.07 kWh battery pack, offering a maximum CLTC pure‑electric range of 186 km.
